The Illustrators' Choice Project pairs great stories and games for children and youth with distinct graphic and visual art. Artists are chosen by a volunteer panel of peers with diverse artistic perspectives to add an extra dimension to an important storybook or game for young audiences. Any Canadian illustrator, graphic designer, visual artist, or representative may submit samples of work for consideration, as explained in each submission package.
A request for a submission package does not constitute an obligation to submit.
In the case that multiple projects are simultaneously open to submissions, illustrators or their representatives may request submission packages for up to three projects at a time, with no limit on the number of times requests may be submitted.

Far from marketing baby genius products, this project focuses on curating a wide range of resources (including stories, games, instructional guides, and so on) for parents and their young children. Of particular interest, are those resources that highlight the significance of the parent – child relationship and the responsibilities inherent to this relationship, especially during pregnancy and in the first few years of a child’s life.
